Leon Lee - The owner of Lams Chinese

Mr LAM opened his Chinese Restaurant in King Street, Hammersmith, in 1985. It quickly established a reputation for first class Cantonese cuisine and excellent service.

In 2001, the restaurant was purchased by a good friend of Mr LAM, Leon Lee, who himself, had established a well known restaurant in Notting Hill Gate called Lee Fook. When the owners of the Lee Fook building decided to redevelop the site, Mr Lee took over LAMS bringing along his chefs from Lee Fook.

The best of the Lee Fook team joined Leon and together they re-established their unique cuisine experience in West London.

If you want to try authentic Cantonese cuisine, LAM's still has a strong connection with New Lee Fook in Tolsworth. This restaurant, owned by Ringo Lo, who has a formidable reputation in Chinese cuisine, was awarded second best Chinese restaurant in 2004 by TimeOut Magazine.
